Nokia s60 IM settings Yahoo Messenger

Update….
Apparently these settings work best on E series Nokia phones. I’ve had some trouble with my n95 and n70 so I assume the settings are notmeant for the N series, as they work randomly.
Create new server with these settings
server name Whatever you want, I used Yahoo!
acess point in use T-ZONES/T-MOBILE INTERNET if you have internet plan and you need to be connected all day, you can also use wifi
web address imps.msg.yahoo.com like I said, I have used this before and always had problems with it up until a few days ago when it started working fine
user name whatever yahoo id you have
password to match your yahoo id
well hopefully you can use these settings. Some may think this app is unpolished and to basic, but in need to not install a third party app I think this app does what it needs. Dont forget you can also use this app fo other servers such as msn, jabber, but I only need it for yahoo and is the only settings I have right now. I have used it with msn but didnt use it for long. It worked fine as well.

Hello and thanks for reading.. These settings should work for most nokia phones as most of them used the same software. Specially your 6630, which is s60 as mine. Well if you’re getting unable to connect, remember that you have to set a valid access point. I think you need at least a tzones plan. I have an unlimited internet plan and it works fine. Check to see which internet plan you have just in case.. Now remember these are settings used in the US, Im not sure if you re in a different country. As far as the MSN settings, I don’t have the settings anymore. I found out you can actually download the msn messenger application and it works better than the default IM app. You should try that app instead. Thanks for reading and hope I could helped.
